DIRECT DEPOSIT

Direct Deposit of refunds is available.  To sign up or to check to see if you have a refund pending, click HERE and follow the instructions.

You will be asked to create a username and a password.  Be sure to make a note of both your username and password because you will need them to access the website.

Once you have completed the sign-up process, it will take 4-5 business days to get the banking side of the transaction processed.  Any refunds due to you during this time will be processed as a check which you will receive in the Office of Student Accounting.  Once your direct deposit application has been processed, all refunds will be sent directly to your bank.  We send the refund files daily; however, different banks have different processing times; and therefore, we do not have an exact date of when your funds will be made available to you by your bank.  Most banks have it ready in one day while other banks require an extra day or two.  Consequently, if you are expecting a refund on the 9th of the month, we will send the funds to your bank on the 10th but depending on your bank's processing method you may or may not have access to the funds on the 10th.  You are able to verify that we have sent your refund by accessing clicking HERE and looking at your Refund screen by clicking the tab.  It will give you a list of all refunds that have been direct deposited to your account and the date they were sent.

To determine if the funds are in your account, contact your bank.  DO NOT WRITE A CHECK ON YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT UNTIL YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE FUNDS ARE IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.  If you write a check with the expectation that there will be a refund to cover the check and the refund is not in your bank account, then you are responsible for all insufficient fund charges.

Checks will be available to students who do not sign up for direct deposit at the Office of Student Accounting.

We strongly encourage students who live out of town or who will be on out of town rotations to sign up for direct deposit.
